Radiohead, "My Iron Lung" guitar lesson. We're using the Digitech Whammy V to replicate the haunting pitch shifted guitar from The Bends album. With the Whammy V set to classic mode, chords are met with glitchy tracking and alien artifacts which fit the mood of this song. In the harmony setting, the pedal adds an octave above the dry signal, which is like a twisted 12-string guitar. Although My Iron Lung is possible in standard tuning, playing it in open G reveals Greenwood's droning chords and phrasing which is difficult to produce otherwise. Enjoy your daily guitar lesson.
